Progress Pride flag

In June 2018, American graphic designer Daniel Quasar published a rainbow flag with the black and brown colors from the Philadelphia flag and the colors light blue, pink and white from the Trans Pride flag in a triangle on the trouser side of the flag. This rainbow flag is known as the Progress variant and came to worldwide attention via social media.

Information
Partly in response to the many Black Lives Matter protests, various LGBT organizations started using the new Progress flag in 2020. In the Netherlands, these include Pride Amsterdam, Rotterdam Pride and the online queer magazine Expreszo. While some are happy with the added triangle with extra colors, others prefer the 'traditional' rainbow flag with six colors.
